STRABO GLASSES
Qadipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor.
This is a clinically proven method for restoring 3D vision (binocular vision) in case of strabismus and increasing visual acuity in case of amblyopia.
They are an integral part of the rehabilitation phase during the complex treatment of strabismus and amblyopia according to DAVS system.
About us
The treatment method, taken as the basis for STRABO Glasses, was developed by a leading Russian scientist in the field of ophthalmology, Doctor of Science, Academician of the Russian Medical-Technical Academy, Professor Igor Aznauryan and the team of inventors of the Clear Eyes Clinical Association.
The effectiveness of Strabo glasses in the treatment of eye diseases such as amblyopia and strabismus in children is confirmed by the “Association of Ophthalmologists and Strabismologists” in Russia.
STRABO Glasses Visual System
In appearance, STRABO glasses are similar to ordinary glasses, but are equipped with special liquid crystal lenses. Taking into account individual parameters that depend on the visual system of each patient, STRABO glasses are programmed to flash (occlusion) mode at different time intervals.
Indication for Use
STRABO glasses are intended for therapeutic orthoptic and pleoptic exercises to treat amblyopia and strabismus. They aim to improve visual acuity, eliminate functional scotomas, and enhance binocular vision through precise electronic occlusion therapy.
STRABO Glasses use liquid crystal technology to provide electronic occlusion therapy for amblyopia.
STRABO Glasses stand out with their highly customizable treatment modes, advanced software integration, and ability to treat both amblyopia and strabismus, making them a more versatile choice for a broader range of patients.

Rehabilitation for Amblyopia
When visual acuity increases in amblyopia, STRABO glasses are programmed by the doctor in such a way that the “lazy” eye works.
With amblyopia, it is important not only to increase visual acuity, but also to restore binocular functions. This is IMPOSSIBLE with constant occlusion of one eye. Therefore, STRABO glasses cover the lens on the side of the healthy eye for a longer period of time, forcing the “lazy” eye to “work”. Periodically turning off the healthy eye in the visual process gives an impulse to the amblyopic eye, and thus the healthy eye helps the “lazy” one.
This is painless, does not cause any discomfort and does not reduce the patient’s self-confidence – unlike eye stickers that completely cover one eye.
Rehabilitation for Strabismus
When undergoing rehabilitation of patients with strabismus, we often encounter problems:
- Delayed treatment and late surgical correction make complete functional rehabilitation and restoration of three-dimensional vision (3D format) almost impossible.
- There is not enough time for treatment in the clinic: longer treatment is required.
- Treatment in the clinic is not required, it is only necessary to restore three-dimensional vision (3D format)
Patients call STRABO glasses “home synoptophore.” Since they perform partly the same function, but in an improved format. Rehabilitation takes place in comfortable conditions and without time limits! With Sktabo glasses you can do homework, watch TV, play your favorite computer games, study,

Meet Faruk Örge, MD, MBA, FAAO, FAAP
Faruk H. Örge MD, MBA, FAAO, FAAP, is the Dr. Boomer and Jill Burnstine Endowed Chair in Pediatric Ophthalmology, Director of Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Akron Children’s Hospital.
After completing a research fellowship for 2 years, an internship, residency, and a clinical fellowship at Indiana University, he opted to return to his country to serve as an academician at Yeditepe University. He returned to the United States to practice in 2007, joining Akron Children’s Hospital in 2025.
Throughout his career Dr. Örge has supervised and mentored hundreds of students, residents, fellows and researchers, helping to shape the future of pediatric ophthalmology care. In addition to being a reviewer for several ophthalmology and strabismus related journals, he is a published author of over 150 manuscripts, chapters and books. He has many ongoing research projects regarding almost all aspects of pediatric ophthalmology. The American Academy of Ophthalmology gave Faruk Örge, MD, a Distinguished Service Award in 2025. He shared the honor with Dr. David Epley of Children’s Eye Care in Kirkland, Washington. The doctors received the award for their work with the Knights Templar Eye Foundation’s Pediatric Ophthalmology Education Center. Through the “Retinopathy of Prematurity Virtual Reality Project,” they developed interactive simulators to use in training. The simulators shortened the learning time it takes to diagnose “crossed eyes” from weeks to days. Diagnosing the condition sooner helps kids get vision care faster, and this early intervention improves their chances of having normal vision.
